Chip is a Piebald Cob, born onsite to mum, Rain, and last week we celebrated his first birthday!

To celebrate, Sue Barton, animal manager, brought a carrot cake in for the staff and trainees who have worked hard all year looking after the ponies. One of the trainees brought in a nice juicy carrot as a birthday treat, which Chip thoroughly enjoyed munching whilst everyone gave him a back rub, making sure his day was truly special.

Chip would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped look after him this year, and for making sure he had a great birthday.

Chip and Rain will both be on show at our Open Farm Sunday on 5 June, so come along and see how our handsome boy has grown over the last year!
