Urgent appeal for help to care for our animals

At the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, we had to close our farm shop and temporarily stop support sessions for people with a learning disability. As a result of this loss of income, the farm needs donations to help cover the cost of continuing to look after our much-loved animals. Could you help?

How your donation will help

Your donation will help cover the essential costs of purchasing animal feed and materials such as fencing, to help maintain the 35-acre site.

Sadly, the farm’s trainees have to stay at home so the animals are not getting the daily interaction from the people they are most used to. To help fill this gap and support their wellbeing, enrichment toys could also be purchased, for example, horse footballs, ear scratchers for the cows, and goat seesaws.

Appeal target

We’re hoping to raise £5,200 to get the farm through these uncertain times. However big or small, every donation will help!

If you can help, please visit our JustGiving page to donate, and please share with your family and friends.

From Humphrey the Shetland pony, Daisy the goat – who’s about to have babies – and everyone else at Elm Tree Farm, thank you for your support!
