Volunteering

Farm worker volunteers

Volunteers make a valuable contribution to Elm Tree Farm and the lives of the people we support. Whatever aspect of farm life you’re interested in getting involved with, if you have time to spare on a regular basis, we’d love to hear from you. See our guide to farm worker volunteer opportunities for more information.

Roles we are particularly keen to fill:

  • Farm buddies – work alongside people we support in a range of our projects
  • Farm shop – help organise our farm shop
  • Weekend growers – including a growing coordinator to facilitate the group
  • Market gardeners
  • Animal husbandry

To apply, please complete a volunteer registration form and email it to gaby.oliva@brandontrust.org

Supported volunteers

We offer people with learning disabilities the opportunity to volunteer in our farm shop and develop their numeracy and customer service skills in a real-life setting. Whilst getting genuine work experience for a real business, volunteers can also give back to their local community.

We welcome applications from people with support needs as long as they can bring their own support. Please email gaby.oliva@brandontrust.org for more information.

Corporate volunteers

At the Farm we offer teams from companies and businesses, the opportunity to spend time completing physical tasks in the great outdoors, away from the office. Teams can give back to the local community, while also team-building, and fulfilling their corporate social responsibility strategy.

To make an enquiry, please email gaby.oliva@brandontrust.org

Casual volunteers

Some people can’t offer us their regular help but are keen to get involved occasionally. See our guide to casual volunteering opportunities.

If you’d like to register your interest, please email gaby.oliva@brandontrust.org
